Legend has it that Count Grey discovered this recipe when bergamot oil accidentally fell on the black tea. Since then it has become one of the most widely consumed black teas in England. Intensity is what could best describe the taste of the original Earl Grey. A tea that can be enjoyed at any time of the day, for breakfast or in between, alone or with milk. Even its citric and refreshing taste allows it to be drunk cold. It is a mixture of black tea flavoured with bergamot oil, the fruit of a citrus plant from which the oil is used, which is extracted more from the skin than from the pulp.
