The land gives us the gift of coffee and our commitment to the land is to take care of it and preserve it. From Montecelio, we think that taking care of the land is much more than just making sure the product is ecological. It has to do with using materials that do not harm the environment, that are compostable; with not wasting resources, such as energy; and with reusing everything we can. It's about completing the life cycle. That's why the Iku, an indigenous people of Colombia, are the principal actors in our ecological coffee. They take care to preserve nature and maintain harmony in the world. Under the philosophy of these 'guardians of life', we present Montecelio Iku.
From the cradle of the Iku civilization, we bring this blend of arabicas grown at high altitude, which provide a fruity taste, with subtle citrus notes. It is an organic blend in a compostable package to complete the life cycle.
